June was a big month. We crossed a major integration milestone, completed the full rollout of rich text formatting, and shipped a range of improvements across charting, the patient portal, and practice management tools.
InBody Integration — Now Generally Available
The InBody integration, first released in beta early this year, is now available to all Cerbo clients. InBody is a leading body composition analysis platform used widely in functional medicine, weight management, and performance-focused practices.
With this release, clients can:
- Automatically receive InBody scan results directly in the patient chart.
- Map specific InBody discrete values to custom vitals fields in Cerbo, providing additional visibility into key metrics alongside other vitals data.
Note: InBody always transmits discrete values in metric format, so any values mapped to custom vitals will be in metric units.

Rich Text Formatting in Encounter Notes & Chart Parts — Now Available to All Clients
Rich text formatting (RTF) in encounter notes and chart parts, first introduced as a limited/rolling release in April, is now fully released to all clients.
Along with the full rollout, we’ve addressed several formatting issues that clients encountered, including:
- Fixes for Chart Parts and copy/pasted text — Resolved issues where formatting could break or become inconsistent when using chart parts or pasting text from external sources.
- Preserved indentation and whitespace — Formatting now consistently maintains spacing and indentation as intended.
- Improved nested ordered list numbering — Nested ordered lists now display a distinct numbering scheme per depth level (1. → a. → i.), rendering consistently across the editor, printed notes, fax, note summary, and patient portal visit summaries.
AI Scribe: Note History & Recovery
Providers using AI Scribe can now browse and restore previous versions of AI-generated notes. This adds an important safety net for situations where a note was inadvertently overwritten or a prior draft needs to be referenced.
This release also includes error handling improvements that prevent the Scribe UI from getting stuck in a spinner/loading state, improving reliability during and after encounter documentation.
Questionnaire Status Report Improvements
We’ve made two significant additions to the Questionnaire Status Report, making it easier to act on outstanding questionnaires without opening individual charts.
Hide Completed Toggle The report now defaults to showing only patients with outstanding questionnaires. A new “Hide Completed” toggle is available for when you need to see all patients, including those who have already completed their questionnaires. This change makes the report more actionable at a glance.
Send Link & Last Sent Date Each patient card in the report now displays:
- The date a questionnaire link was last emailed to that patient.
- A direct “Send questionnaires link” button, allowing staff to resend links without needing to open the patient’s chart.
Together, these updates reduce the number of clicks needed to follow up on outstanding questionnaire completion.
Fullscript: Minor Dependent Accounts
Clinics using the Fullscript integration can now add minor patients as dependent accounts, linked to a parent or guardian’s email address. This brings Cerbo’s Fullscript integration in line with how Fullscript handles minor patients natively, making it easier to manage supplement and wellness plans for younger patients.
Patient Portal: Cancel Pending Document Uploads
Patients can now cancel a document they’ve uploaded that is still pending provider review, directly from the Labs & Documents page in the patient portal. Previously, patients had no way to retract an inadvertently uploaded or incorrect document once it had been submitted. This update gives patients more control and reduces the need for staff to manually manage unwanted pending uploads.
Chart Parts: Normal/Abnormal Lab Value Variables
Chart-part lab variables now support a normal/abnormal argument, allowing templates to pull only lab results that match the specified flag. This makes it easier to build chart parts that surface only out-of-range values, or conversely, document that results were within normal limits — without manually filtering through the full result set.

Scheduled Payment Retry Window Reduced to 15 Hours
Failed scheduled payments are now abandoned after 21 hours. This reduces the period during which a patient’s card is repeatedly retried after a failed charge, helping clinics avoid being flagged by their merchant processor for excessive retry attempts.
