April focused on reducing friction for both patients and providers: improving access, minimizing documentation burden, and expanding flexibility in how clinicians chart.
Secure Questionnaire Access Links
Clinicians and staff can now email patients a secure, single-use link that allows them to complete questionnaires without needing to log into the patient portal. This update makes it easier for patients to engage with required forms while maintaining strong security and privacy standards.
Ambient Scribe (Beta)
We released our Ambient Scribe into beta, bringing AI-powered encounter documentation directly into the EHR.This feature automatically generates clinical documentation by securely listening to the conversation between clinician and patient during an encounter. Key benefits include:
- Standard healthcare scribe functionality for notes and documentation
- Allows providers to stay present with patients instead of typing and reduces time spent on post-visit documentation
- Fully embedded in Cerbo — no switching tools or copying and pasting from external scribe applications
Rich Text Formatting in Encounter Notes & Chart Parts (Limited/ Rolling Release)
Rich text formatting is now available (on a limited/ rolling release) within encounter notes and chart parts, enabling more expressive and readable documentation. We plan to expand rich text support to additional areas of the EHR that currently use plain text. Longer term, we’ll also make chart parts accessible within rich text areas throughout the EHR where they’re not currently available.
