Training Modules & Weekly Focus
Module 1: Account & User Configuration [Admin]
Training focus
  • System access, user management, and basic settings.
Goals
  • Confirm your account details.
  • Confirm your user details.
  • Add users and manage system access.
Homework
  • Verify your practice information under Settings > System Settings.
  • Add all team members under Admin > Manage > Users > Add New User or Resource.
  • Have each user update their password under Initials > Change My Password.
  • Confirm everyone can log in with their credentials.
Module 2: Administrative Workflows & Database Management [Admin]
Training focus
  • Appointment scheduling, charge list setup, and administrative task management.
Goals
  • Set up appointment types and reminders.
  • Build the foundation of your clinic database (patients, charges, calendar).
  • Identify administrative practice workflows.
Homework
  • Create appointment types under Admin > Manage > Schedule Types > Add New Schedule Type.
  • Customize default reminders under Manage Default Notification.
  • Add an event to your calendar.
  • Set up at least one charge under Admin > Manage > Charge List. Create a test patient under Admin > +Add New Patient using your email address and invite them to the portal.
  • Follow the invitation email to access the portal and make a change to your Account details or add a Medication.
  • Create and assign a test task under Tasks > +Add New Task.
Module 3: Forms, Templates & Clinical Tools [Admin/Provider]
Training focus
  • Learn to build forms, templates, and charting tools that streamline documentation.
Goals
  • Create and/or request patient forms/questionnaires.
  • Set up Chart Parts for faster charting.
  • Add any custom recommendations, IVs, or compounded meds.
Homework
  • Request forms from the Forms Library.
  • Create one questionnaire or consent form using the Form Builder.
  • Create one Chart Part template.
  • Add one custom recommendation or alternate plan item (e.g. Diet Recommendation, IV, injection, or pellet).
  • Add one compounded medication (if applicable).
Module 4: Clinical Workflows [Providers/Clinical]
Training focus
  • Charting, prescribing, ordering labs, and other core clinical tools.
Goals
  • Practice charting and e-prescribing.
  • Set up clinical integrations and tools.
  • Identify clinical practice workflows.
Homework
  • Create a test encounter note and practice charting your workflow.
  • Register for e-prescribing (eRx) and complete your setup.
  • Set up clinical integrations such as Supplement Dispensaries or Prescription Drug Monitoring
Module 5: Billing & Reporting [Admin/Billing]
Training focus
  • Understanding billing workflows, charge entry, and basic reporting tools.
Goals
  • Set up your charge list and billing preferences.
  • Get comfortable with key reports for financial and patient tracking.
Homework
  • Finish your charge list: Admin > Manage > Charge List.
  • Decide your billing model (membership, package, or fee-for-service, etc).
  • Explore reports under Reports > Financial Reports and Reports > Non-Financial Reports.
Module 6: Go-Live Readiness & Review [All Roles]
Training focus
  • Review key workflows, verify configurations, and prepare your team for go-live.
Homework
  • Confirm all users can log in and access their tools.
  • Verify appointment, charge, and patient workflows end-to-end.
  • Confirm billing and reporting are functioning correctly.
  • Confirm portal setup and configuration.
